Warranty Information

All of our products are fully guaranteed against defects in materials and / or craftsmanship under our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Our warranty does not apply if the damage is due to what we define as normal wear and tear; this includes natural elements and materials in our items such as wood handles and/or wood products, or use other than the intended purpose of the item. Certain types of damages and/or conditions such as those due to age or improper treatment would void our warranty.

If you feel your product qualifies for a warranty claim, we would appreciate the opportunity to hear from you.

Please contact us at info@schmidtbrothers.com. We will reply within 48-72 business hours with instructions on the necessary information needed to inspect your claim and process.

Replacements for items no longer available may be made with similar items of equal value, at the option of the company.

Knife Sharpening

The more you use your knives, the more frequently you’ll have to sharpen them. Guess you didn’t need us to tell you that.

To maintain a sharp edge (the sharper the knife, the safer the knife), you should hone your knives once a week and do a full, at-home sharpening once a month.

There are a number of great products on the market that the everyday chef can use (including ours!).  Once you do it once or twice, it gets less scary - we promise. Each of our team members still have 10 fingers.
