Recipes to Try Out This February

Recipes to Try Out This February

This year is all about carving out space for yourself. And for us, this space is in the kitchen cooking with people we love. With these cold winter nights we have been experiencing the best remedy is to curl up with a delicious home cooked meal. Here are our top recipes to try out in February:

Classic Roast Chicken:

Nothing is more comforting on a cold night than a warm roast chicken, it's a classic! And the best part about this dish, besides how amazing it tastes, is that all you really have to do is put the chicken in the oven and wait. Our secret to the best roasted chicken is to make sure that the skin is very dry before cooking which will lead to super crispy skin. Another thing we love about this dish is that you can save and use the leftover chicken to make a delicious soup the next day!

P.S. if you don’t want to roast a whole chicken, our shears make it super easy to spatchcock a chicken and only use half of it!

Vegetarian Chili:

A warm bowl of chili is just what the doctor prescribed this winter! Chili is the perfect easy weeknight meal and can be made with just about anything you have laying around your kitchen. While you can add anything to chili, it does require a few ingredients that create the signature taste. You’ll need onions, peppers, tomato paste or sauce, oregano, cumin, and any other seasonings you like to add. And the best part is that chili goes with anything, serve it with cornbread, on a baked potato, with chips, or just enjoy by itself!

Herb Strip Steak:

A warm slice of steak is the perfect dish to warm you up, and super easy to make. This herb strip steak is a great weeknight option as it only takes around an hour to prepare. Served with roasted potatoes, this recipe will for sure be a crowd pleaser for everyone at the table! We would recommend cooking the steak medium rare and serving it with one of our steak knife sets

Curl up with these recipes to keep you warm all winter long!
